Hello,
I spent yesterday evening reading a book regarding the Fox sisters of the 1800’s, who experienced abnormal phenomena and ? communication with the spiritual world. I had wondered to myself several times if there was any truth to what I was reading, and if spirits could actually make such contact. I was feeling a bit disappointed that I probably would never know.After going to bed that night, I awoke at 0100 with the feeling that something had occurred. I opened my eyes and to my surprise my bedside lamp was switched on. This has never happened before. The switch is well out of my reach, so I would not have accidently bumped it on. I live on my own.
I don’t know why, but I said out loud “okay, I can see it’s on, did you want to let me know that you can make contact?” As I said this, the light flickered on and off several times. I switched the light off, got myself a drink, and went back to sleep.
I then had a disturbing dream (which happens very rarely) of someone being on my bed. I was trying to yell out but could not get the words out of my mouth. In my dream I felt something leaning against my leg. I finally woke up and realised it was a dream, albeit quite an interesting one.
Do you believe that me reading the spiritual book and pondering the question about whether spirits can make contact, and then having this occur later is a coincidence or something more?

Greetings: Yes in fact I not only believe that this occurs, but I know that it does. You see if the thought or desire is strong enough it acts like a magnet to a specific vibration, or event. You in your statement saying that you would not experience this sent out a longing, or request that was received by the spirit world, and fulfilled. This means that you have the predilection for seeing, and interacting with that world, and that training is in order. Peace.
